i'm going to NYC next month and REALLY want to see wicked but i'm almost tempted to purchase them now to be sure i will have them. But people tell me to wait until i get there and buy them at the discounted TKTS booths. But it seems that no one has ever tried to buy Wicked tickets there. So what are my chances of getting them at the TKTS booth, or should i buy them now. PLEASE I NEED ADVICE!!!!

What's at the TKTS booth is pretty much luck--unsold tickets for the day. Since Wicked is a very hot show, it might be difficult to get discount tickets--or, tickets at all except from a scalper.

You could try the Hot TXTS booth, I' get there very early, a scalpter, or you could go to box office b/4 show starts and they sometimes have tickets that havent been picked up or have been canceled and will sell them. Good luck, very popular show you're trying to get to see.
