Question about play tickets?

I am going to watch a play in a city near from where i live. I'm going to buy it online. I am a junior in high school. Tickets are $18 for children and $20 for students w/ ID for this one theatre play. When they say children, is that young kids? My school ID should be fine right? Even if I'm not from that city, because I live in another city that is 15 minutes away.

I'm sure you're I.D. will be fine. I use mine alot; sometimes larege professional theaters offer something called "Student Rushing" where, if you arrive the day of the show and show them your student I.D., they can offer you very low-priced tickets. Just something to keep in mind for future performances!

My guess is that children are considered 12 and under.
